No. Coherence uses the front camera on a phone or tablet.
Do I have to collect vitals?
No. Build the activity from Question, Overview, Instruction and Summary steps. Only Capture, Breathing exercise and Stream use the camera.
Is eSSESSMENT a medical device?
No. It’s for general wellness only and isn’t intended to diagnose or treat any condition.
Can I ask questions during a reading?
Yes. Turn on Capture Questions in a Capture step. See Capture step.
Can participants get reminders?
Yes. Turn on Send reminders in an activity’s schedule and choose push or email. See Schedules and reminders.
How do I get my data out?

Can I build activities with AI?
Yes, with the Coherence MCP server. It works with AI tools that support MCP, and is available now as a connector in Claude. See Build with AI.
How much does it cost?
