# Metrics

Every metric is recorded during a Capture. **Metrics to Display** only controls which cards participants see.

| Pulse Rate | Heart rate estimated from the camera | BPM |
| Breathing Rate | Breaths per minute estimated from the camera | BrPM |
| HRV | Heart rate variability: the variation in time between heartbeats | ms |
| EDA | Electrodermal activity signal |  |
| Pulse Trace | The pulse waveform over the reading | Waveform |
| Breathing Trace | The breathing waveform over the reading | Waveform |
| Expressions | Facial expression signals | Per-frame signal |
| Talking | Whether the participant is talking | On/off |
| Blinking | Blink detection | Events |
| Confidence | How confident each reading is | Percent |
